Colors by Llarowe Gemini Rising

Colors by Llarowe Gemini Rising
This is 2 coats of a very saturated emerald green. I had requested this color for many months and it looks like she heard! I wore this for a couple of days before I had chipping.
I have really slowed down on buying nail polish and even sold a good bit of my stash. I will continue selling more of it throughout the next few months.
Feel free to look me up on store envy.
demapixie.storeenvy.com

I am back at working out and eating clean. For the same reason as last year, a music festival. So far so good!
I am keeping up with eating clean and working out. It is the snacking that keeps holding me back. I was in a car accident in the fall and I am still having issues with my back. That has kept me from working out like I like to. I have had to cut my calories because of the lack of working out. It has been hard because I love food! I have 2 weeks until go time!

Colors by Llarowe Rizzo

Hey fellow polish lover :)
This is 1 coat of Colors by Llarowe Rizzo
and an accent nail of a purple polish
that I put ILNP Mega holo top coat over.
It made the color change to a light purple color.
I put off buying Rizzo 3 times.
Then after seeing so many pretty swatch pictures in polish groups,
I finally caved. I am so glad I did!
Rizzo has a wonderful formula that applied with ease
and wore well for a few days.
I did put it over a darker pink, that may be why it looks
darker than other people's swatches.
Also, it may have helped with the stay time.

I am getting really excited about the
Disney cruise we are surprising the kids with on Friday.
They think we are driving to the beach and staying there.
I plan on recording their reactions.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you are well.

Nicole by OPI with Holo Top Coat

Hey there!
I had some untried polishes (as I always do)
and I wanted to give them a try.
It was also sunny,
so I had to add my new
Colors by Llarowe Leather & Lace holographic top coat.
The teal color polish is Nicole by OPI Candid Cameron.
The blue is Nicole by OPI What's the Mitch-uation.
The teal polish was easier to apply and took 2 coats, the blue took 3.
I did not take pictures of it before, sorry.
I couldn't wait to add my pretty holo topper.
Below is the result.
I do recommend being very careful when applying Leather & Lace.
What I mean by that is a little goes a long way.
2 coats covers the base color too much.
I really like the final results.

I hope you are doing well. I am doing wonderful.
We start a new business venture in June.
We are surprising the kids with a Disney cruise for mother's day weekend. Then when we come back, we head to Las Vegas
for a 4 day adult vacation with a bunch of friends.
May is going to be an awesome month, haha.

Colors by Llarowe Piece of Me

Colors by Llarowe Piece of Me
2 coats no top coat.
Hey there, I figured I would post a dreary color due to my mood.
I posted an almost duplicate color before, Too Fancy Moody Blue.
The difference in the two is Piece of Me requires two coats,
while Moody Blue only needs one.
Also, Piece of Me is more on the grey side than the blue
compared to Moody Blue.
Both are great polishes.
Colors by Llarowe Piece of Me was orginaally a custom polish
but then was released on her site as a charity polish.
People can say what they want about Leah Ann,
but, from my experience she is a very sweet and giving person.
I love her polishes more knowing how good of a person she is towards
the less fortunate.

Anyways...

You ever have those days that seem fine and then someone says
something that just triggers you to mope around?
Well, I am having one of those days.
What is weird is I was feeling great, then read something
and got all depressed.
Got over that then someone called me
all in a bad mood and it passed on to me.
Now I amin this funky depressed mood again.
 Blah! Oh well.
I always say,
"Got to have the bad days to appreciate the good days."

I hope you are having a better day and I thank you for stopping by :)

Colors by Llarowe Seahawks Lime

Colors by Llarowe Seahawks Lime 2 coats
Hey there!
Spring has sprung and here is a polish that is perfect
for the wonderful warm weather and sunshine.
The formula was easy to apply and stayed for a couple of days before I have minor tip wear.
The color is like the name, a lime green.
It is named after the football team and champs, Seattle Seahawks.
I lived there as well as Denver, but, I was hoping the Seahawks would win.
And, unless you were under a rock, you know they did indeed win.
I hope you are doing well.
I am great! No complaints.
Thanks for stopping by!

Colors by Llarowe Gizzards & Lizzards

Colors by Llarowe Gizzards & Lizzards 2 coats no top coat.
*Whistles* Now this is a beauty.
This is exactly what I hoped for when
I ordered Glitter Gal Lizard Belly back a couple years ago.
The color is a dark green on the blue side,
but not as dark as GG Lizard Belly.
The holographic payoff is obvious in the pictures.
This is not the original formula,
but I can't imagine it being better than the one I have.
The formula is great and stay time good.
The weather is warm here in Atlanta and I am not ready for it.
I still had more winter clothes I hadn't worn.
I bet I am the only person who wanted the cold to stay a bit longer, lol.
I like it in the 40s-50s.
Oh well, I will embrace the warmer temperatures.
My birthday is coming up! Yay! hehe.
Anyways, thanks for stopping by and I hope you are doing well :)

Colors by Llarowe Sparkles are a Girls Best Friend

Hey there!
I forgot to post my Valentine's Day manicure.
I took this picture before clean up, so please excuse the messiness.
Anywho, as stated, the beautiful holographic polish
is Colors by Llarowe Sparkles are a Girls Best Friend.
SAGBF is a saturated hot pink color an.
The formula is spot on and stay time is good.
I used Essie Blanc for the 3 center fingers
and added stickers and decals that
had hot pink accents after that was good and dry.
I added 2-3 coats of top coat to make the stickers and decals smooth.
I loved wearing this!
Thanks for stopping by!

Colors by Llarowe Paper Moon

Colors by Llarowe Paper Moon 2 Coats, no top coat.
Hello there.
Here is the holotastic Paper Moon in all her glory.
The light purple color is not original and in fact is probably a dupe
for Color Club Eternal Beauty and/or Jade Fascinio Violeta
and/or Dance Legend Cosmic Rainbow.
I own all 4 and do not plan on getting rid of any of them, lol.
I should do a comparison post though.
Back to Paper Moon.
The application was easy with 2 coats. It dried and stayed the usual time for this brand.
I ordered this during on of Llarowe's many restocks.
I did order a bunch of her spring line
linear holo polishes and should be receiving them soon.
Yay!
Thanks for stopping by :)
So pretty!

Colors by Llarowe Beat It

Colors by Llarowe Beat it 2 coats, no top coat.
Hey again! Wonderful weather we are having here in Atlanta.
Which to me, equals days at the park and of course HOLO wearing, lol.
So, we go from snow and ice in January and early February
to mid February it is in the 70s.
This weather is so whacko. But, it is home.
A lot of changes for me recently.
 I am excited about them.
I sold my business. I am now a stay home mom.
This is a great thing!
I will work part time to train the new owners on how to run the business and such.
But, my main thing is running my house hold of 6 people and 3 pets. Yay!

Anyways, back to why you clicked this post. The polish needs to be talked about!
Beat it is from the Colors by Llarowe
Michael Jackson collection that was released last year, 2013.
The holographic payoff is very obvious in this dark bluish grey beauty.
The formula was a tad bit thick, but evened out by the second coat.
Stay time was decent for a holo not having any top coat on, which is 2 days, then some tip wear was obvious.
But, if you know me, that is plenty long enough.
I had an awesome week for nail mail, so more need to be worn asap! haha.
I also have more on the way...I have a problem or is it?
I'll post a pic below of some of my wonderful nail mail.

Here is today's nail mail.
I ordered this from Llarowe.com.
These are all holographic polishes, lol, of course.
Emily de Molly High Distinction (gold), Emily de Molly Seeing Red (red),
Dance Legend Just Another Star (purple), Joss In a Violet Haze (White Iridescent),
Joss Mermaid's Dream (blue),
Colors by Llarowe This Girl is on Fire...Help! (purple)
This was a replacement for the mislabeled on I received.
and Jade Irresistivel (Champagne)

Colors by Llarowe Rare Bear

Colors by Llarowe Rare Bear
This is 2 coats.
I received this in February when I ordered during one of the restocks.
I was on the fence about this polish and
finally decided to get it after seeing so many awesome swatches.
The base color is like a dusty teal.
But, in the sun HOLY HOLO.
It is hard to tell exactly what the base color is because
of all of the rainbows shooting out like laser beams.

I wore this for a few days before I have some bad chipping.
I did not wear a top coat.

Sorry about my long absence.
I have been wearing and taking pictures of my nails.
I have just be so darn lazy to post about it.
I have never been this lazy before.
I need to shape up soon though.
Wasting my days bumming around.
Although, I love being lazy sometimes. lol

Thanks for stopping by!

Colors by Llarowe In the Navy

Colors by Llarowe In the Navy
I put 1 coat over 2 coats of
Ruby Kisses Mediterranean Night Sky, a dark navy color.
This is also to save the holographic goodness as well as to try out that polish. I did not use top coat. This lasted 3 days before I had a chip.
If you are a navy blue lover, then this polish is for you!
This is such a beauty. I didn't think I would like it so much.
I keep cutting my nails short, because I realized
over the past year, that I do not like long nails on myself.
Sorry if you don't like short nails.
They are just much more functional for me and
I also like they way they look on me.

Anywho, thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a lovely day!

Colors by Llarowe Good Fortune

Colors by Llarowe Good Fortune.
I put 1 coat over a teal color polish I received from
a friend in Australia. The polish is called "Lets Go Scuba Diving" from
Faces of Australia. Lovely color that covered in 2 coats.
I did not use top coat.
I want to save the beautiful holo goodness, so I tend to do this.
This wore wonderfully for 3 days before I started to have noticable
tip wear. This is my favorite CBL polish so far.
I have 19 CBLS in total at the moment.
My pocket is crying, but I am happy with my collection, lol.
Thanks for stopping by!

Colors by llarowe Dirty Diana

Colors by llarowe Dirty Diana
2 coats, top coat.

Here is another holographic polish from Colors by llarowe.
The formula was easy and covered in 2 coats.
I did not have the chipping issue I had with another one I wore by CBL.
The color is very pretty, it reminds me of
OPI DS Exclusive, but a tad but on the red side than the purple like
Exclusive. I also acquired this through her pre-orders.
The price was $12.

Thanks for stopping by!

Colors by llarowe Vamp

Colors by llarowe Vamp
2 coats, top coat.

Howdy there :)

Here is another holographic polish. I am addicted, sorry!
Colors by llarowe Vamp is a red holo with golden copper flashes.
In the sunlight it goes from red to red violet almost.
As you can see in the picture, it doesn't look like a true red.
However, with indoor lighting it does seem red.
It is a beauty and I am super glad I ordered it during her preorder.

You can click here to visit the store listing as well as see
another swatch (which looks different then mine)

I received mine at the beginning of September, so
I am not sure if there were different batches.

Thanks for stopping by!

Colors by Llarowe This Girl is on Fire...Help!

Colors by Llarowe This Girl is on Fire...Help!
This is actually Smooth Criminal (it was mislabeled)
1 coat, with top coat.

Hey!
This is my first time showing Colors by Llarowe.
I preordered a handful of her holographic polishes
and was pleased by how quickly they arrived safe and sound.
This was the first I decided to wear.
This Girl is on Fire...Help! is a blurple 1 coat linear holographic polish.
I have seen other swatches, and theirs seem to lean more towards
the purple side than the blue, like mine.
I am not sure if there were a few batches.
I do not see this on llarowe's page anymore.
So, I am not sure of it being available again.
The only complaint I have of this polish
is that I did have chipping after 1 day even with
wrapped tips of top coat.
But, other than  that, everything was very pleasing.
The color reminds me of OPI/Ninja Polish Glamorous, but
This Girl is on Fire...Help! is a bit lighter in color.

Thanks for stopping by!
