Ninja Polish Flibbertigibbet

Ninja Polish Flibbertigibbet
This is ONE coat!
And these pictures were taken 4 days after application!
The color shifts from green to golds and browns on your nails
and if the angle is just right a few other colors might pop in there.
The linear holographic adds a whole other
layer of prismatic explosion to your nails as well!
Unfortunately, Ninja Polish has retired from making and selling polish.
So, unless you happen to find someone selling
this, you may have to find a similar
look from the many other indie makers.
I won't be one of those people selling theirs though, lol.
Thanks for stopping by!

The above picture shows the color shift in the shade.

Ninja Polish Passion Shift

Ninja Polish Passion Shift 2 coats, no top coat.
 (above in the shade)

Hello there!
Today was a great day for me :)
I attended my 8 year old son's award ceremony.
He made straight A's for the year!
Proud momma indeed.
Also, my husband and I made a trip to the local humane society and
adopted 2 black cats, which we will name Mickey and Minnie!
We will be able to pick them up tomorrow
after they receive their last shots and one gets spade.
I am so excited for our new family members to arrive!
Tomorrow is my daughter's award ceremony as well as both kids'
last day of school parties.
Busy day!

Back to the polish...

I wore this a while ago and forgot to post, shame on me!
I did not wear top coat and this baby lasted 4 days without any tip wear!
That is amazing for me, considering how hard I am on my nails
and that it is a holographic polish without top coat.
As you can see it also shifts colors in the shade from mostly purple and blue.
SWOON!

This polish as well as many other Ninja Polish brands are out of stock.
You can follow the restock here...http://www.ninjapolish.com/Spectrum/
It is worth following though, for sure.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your day/night is going well :)

Ninja Polish Glamorous

Ninja Polish Glamorous
2 coats, top coat.
Oh yes I did! I have this beauty AND I am showing you it, lol.
Ninja Polish made this in hopes of duplicating the
very hard to find OPI DS Glamorous.
I believe they succeeded in their efforts.
Now, this color is a blurple color, meaning blue and purple mixed.
To me, the color leans more towards blue than purple.
Although, other bloggers have described it as purple with blue hints.
*shrug*
Either way, it is a beauty and I am happy to have it in my collection.

Ninja Polish Enter the Dragon

Hey again!
Here is a STUNNER glitter from Ninja Polish.
I put 1 coat of China Glaze Smoke and Ashes
(my all time favorite 1 coat black)
And this is ONE coat of Ninja Polish Enter the Dragon.
1 coat of top coat and this was done!
This is like OPI Mad as a Hatter,
but gold glitter instead of silver.
I love it.
This polish is currently sold out.

Ninja Polish Chameleon

Hey again!
Here is another Ninja Polish today.
This is also from the Dragon Collection.
Ninja Polish Chameleon is shown in 2 coats over Zoya Jem.
I put 2 coats of fast dry top coat to smooth out the surface
as well as speed up the drying process.

Lets talk about the polishes I used.

Zoya Jem was the perfect choice for undies.
It is from the Fall 2011 Mirrors Collection.
It is a jewel toned plum purple with gold shimmer and glows on the nail.

Now on to the star of show, Ninja Polish Chameleon.
I will be honest and say, I was not as excited when I first put it on.
But, when I got to my car and saw the obvious color changes.
I could not drive until I have snapped the pictures below.
Do you see the purple, red, orange, pink and even blue??
Amazing.

I purchased it for $11 at ninjapolish.com
This is currently out of stock.
But, you can sign up for emails for its return

Thanks for stopping by!

PS: I recently started back on being healthy and workouts.
I lost 15 pounds in the month of August, which on my small frame, made a big difference.
It was by partying so much and barely eating, no very healthy.
However, I gained half of it back.
I am now working on toning up, especially my legs and butt.
And hopefully dropping a size or 2.
I will post updates at the end of future nail posts if you want to read them.

Last night I worked out for 2 hours...
I played 1 game of basketball.
I did legs with weights (squats, lunges, more squats with weights, and machines)
Then...(I was really pushing myself)
I did the Spartacus workout, 4 workouts, 10-20 reps, 3 times each.
I was dying during this...it is hard.
Then I stretched out for 10 minutes.
I was so pooped, I could barely walk after all that! lol
I ate sushi for lunch, a health bar, a banana, and another health bar before bed.
I honestly, was too tired to eat.
I drank a lot of water though.
Today is a new day and I hope to get back in the gym for another hour
as well as keeping my food intake clean and minimal.
My goal last year was to look good in my Halloween costume.
This year my goal is to look good in my 3 outfits for
Tomorrow World.
Tomorrow World is an outdoor EDM Music Festival that lasts for 3 days.
I will be sure to posts pics when that happens at the end of September.

Ninja Polish Basilisk

Hello!
I have one of the new Ninja Polish Dragon polishes today.
This is Ninja Polish Basilisk.
This glitter bomb has green, gold and hints of blue shifts in a clear base.
This is my favorite of the bunch.
My husband said "Looks like you have dragon scales on your nails."
He was so proud when I told him the name and
that he got it right, lol.
I started with my usual base coats. Then,
I put 2 coats of Sancion Angel in a
forest green color as the base color
then I put 2 coats of Ninja Polish Basilisk
and then 2 coats of fast dry top coat.
Currently, this polish is sold out.
But, you can sign up for restock emails and grab one

The below photos were taken with my phone
in my bathroom lighting.

Day 3- U Jelly? Ninja Polish Alexandrite

Hey again!
Day 3- U Jelly?
Use a Jelly polish or a mani everyone will envy...
It was hard for me not to wear a jelly, bc I LOVE Jelly polishes.
But, I thought, I better wear the GEM of a polish I have.
I present to you Ninja Polish Alexandrite.
(I received it as a Christmas present from my secret Santa)
Currently, this polish is not available.
But, never say never!
It may return...but, don't hold your breath...lol.
Anyway, I chose to wear this beauty over
China Glaze Smoke and Ashes (My favorite black)
and China Glaze For Audrey (mint greenish color).
I added 2 coats of Ninja Polish Alexandrite on top and
decals I ordered from RLR Creations.
Super easy nail art that looks great!
I don't know why more people don't use nail decals.
$2.25 for 20 decals and free shipping? Yes, please!
I had these custom made, like the others I have shown you so far.
I topped it off with HK Girl Top Coat,
my favorite quick dry top coat in the world.
(I received it as a Birthday gift)
You can see all the color shifts in the photos.
I used my iPhone to take all these pictures, sorry if some are blurry.

Thanks for stopping by!

Ninja Polish Crazy as a Capper and China Glaze Hologlams

Hey again!
One of my long time lemmings has been OPI Mad as a Hatter.
I was able to buy one mini size for an affordable price.
But, after wearing it, I knew I needed a larger bottle.
However, I did not want to pay
the outrageous prices people were selling theirs for.
Then I heard of Ninja Polish making a very close duplicate.
I was able to get my hands on Crazy as a Capper!
The joy I had when I opened my nail mail that day :)
Happy dancing may have occurred, lol.

Ninja Polish has been making some awesome polishes.
If you haven't tried their polishes, you should.

Anyways, I also wanted to try out some of the new China Glaze Hologlams.
I have all of them, but did not try them yet.
I am a huge holo polish lover...
I knew these polishes weren't going to be screaming rainbows.
So, I went in just judging by the formula and color.
I LOVE them! They go on like butter in 2 coats.
The stay time was awesome and the colors are beautiful.

On my pinky finger is Strap On Your Moonboots. (navy blue)
On my ring finger is When Stars Collide. (plum maroon)
On my middle and index is Crazy as a Capper. (multi colored glitter)
On my thumb is Not in this Galaxy. (peachy coral)

Currently NinjaPolish.com is sold out of Crazy as a Capper.
But, you can like them on Facebook or sign up for restock emails.

You can buy the China Glaze Hologlams
on
 Amazon.com
or
eBay.com

Hard Candy Little Bo Pink and Swatches

Hey again.
Here is another Hard Candy shimmer polish.
This one is called Little Bo Pink.
Little Bo Pink is a shimmery coral pink that sort of glows on the nails.
The formula is awesome.
My mom saw me with this one and permanently borrowed it, lol.
She only wears pink polish,
so I usually lose pink polishes to her.

I also added a few swatches below of other polishes
 I wore but never posted.

As you can see below, I broke my middle finger nail, so sad.

And below is Finger Paints Twisted, 2 coats, over black.
Took me over a year and something to get a hold of Twisted.
But, it is finally mine! Look at all those colors!

Below is Orly Miss Conduct, 3 coats.
Oh boy, is this a beauty or what?!
Love love love this polish.

And below is Orly Torrid (one of my very fav reds)
with Ninja Polish First Snow on top.
First Snow has matte white glitters and
these blue toned glitters that surprise the eye.
This picture was taken on an overcast day outside.
And here is the same combo below but with indirect natural lighting.
Thanks for stopping by!

China Glaze Kaleidoscope Him Out with Ariel

China Glaze Kaleidoscope Him Out (4 coats)
Nail decal of Ariel.

Hello! This was my very first holographic polish that I bought.
It is so pretty!
These pictures do not do it justice.
It sparkles in the house and outside.
The formula is really watery, so it takes at least 4 coats for full coverage.
I found this beauty at an old beauty supply last year.
Needless to say I cleaned them out, lol.
China Glaze Kaleidoscope Him Out was discontinued in 2009.
It is a scattered light blue holographic polish with
larger pieces than most holo polishes.
An easier to find substitute would be Milani Cyberspace
I do have a post on that if you click that link you can see it.
At the bottom I put a few swatches of what I wore over the weekend.

China Glaze Kaleidoscope Him Out, 4 coats.
 Sorry for the overexposed picture!

China Glaze Kaleidoscope Him Out, 4 coats.

China Glaze Kaleidoscope Him Out in the direct sunlight.

Bottle shots of China Glaze Kaleidoscope Him Out.

So, I painted me nails a bunch of times this weekend because they kept chipping.
I was cleaning out the garage and cleaning the house and did not wear gloves.
Oopsy :)

Here is another manicure I wore over the weekend,
Ninja Polish Sexy and I Know It (3 coats)
with
Geleous and Top coat.
Here is another manicure I wore over the weekend,
Assorted colors with
Sonoma Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (1 coat dabbed on)
This was a pain to dab on btw.

Here is another manicure I wore over the weekend,
Pretty & Polished Pinkie Pie (1 coat)
over
OPI If You Moust You Moust
Loved Pinkie Pie's formula.

Here is another manicure I wore over the weekend,
OPI Show It and Glow It (3 coats)
Geleous and Top coat.
Really Sparkly in real life!
