Hey there.

 I didn't know what to wear for a base color for Fight Like a Girl.

 I googled swatches and most bloggers wore pink.

I wanted to see all the glitter colors in the polish,

so I decided against pink and went with grey.

Color Club Wild Orchid is a pretty grey

with tiny shimmers of light purple, blues, and silver.

 I put 2 coats and didn't want to cover it!

The formula was great.

Wild Orchid is from the Untamed Luxury Fall 2010 line.

After that dried a little I added 1 coat of Different Dimension Fight Like a Girl.

The glitter pay off was perfect for 1 coat and

I did not have to push around the glitters to have an even look.

I took a shower right after I did my nails, so I messed up my pointer finger.

Oops!

Hey there! Here is my second tried Glitzology.

This is what she wrote about the polish...

"This polish was inspired by my mother, who passed away from breast cancer in January of 2011. She was my best friend and my hero. I consider myself truly blessed to have had such an amazing, loving woman for a mother. I made this polish with light feminine colors that I know she would like.
I added white, and iridescent pink glitters, along with transparent gold mica for shimmer. There are also pink and pastel pink hearts, and small square, as well as pink and white satin glitters."

I tried a really pretty nude polish as the base.

I put 2 coats of Sally Hansen Naked Ambition.

 This version of Naked Ambition is a sheer peach nude with silver shimmer.

 I didn't think I would like it since my skin has a strong yellow undertone.

 But, I did. I bought this when I got a bunch from the sale Walgreens had and they were like $2 something (regularly $7.50)

I put 2 coats, but to wear alone, this polish needs 3 to be opaque.

On to Glitzology Guardian Angel. It has a good amount of glitter. It was thick, but manageable. I put 2 coats of Guardian Angel over Naked Ambition. Then I added 2 coats of top coat. The end result is okay. I don't know what I was expecting. I didn't realize it was going to be so pale.

 I think a darker pink underneath would have showcased

the beauty of all the glitter and shimmer better.

It reminds me of ballet slippers and all things girly and delicate.

Sinful Colors Pinky Glitter and Sinful Colors Pink Forever

Hello, I wanted to do a Pink Ribbon manicure. I picked 2 really girly pinks.

 I put 2 coats of Sinful Colors Pink Forever, which is a pink cream, on all my fingers but my ring finger. It has a decent application. I put 2 coats of white on the ring finger. Then I added 2 coats of Sinful Colors Pinky Glitter.

 Pinky Glitter is a light pink polish that has iridescent glitters and small iridescent glass flecks inside. Its a really pretty polish.

You can see on my ring finger the white polish is a light pink now because of the Sinful Colors Pinky Glitter. I added a decal on my accent finger once everything was dry and after top coat was added and dried. The decal basically SUCKED. The ink on it kept bleeding off when it got wet. And if you know about how to put a decal on, it has to get wet to be applied on. Blah!

But, you get the point and its on there, just not as crisp as it should be.

The picture above and below don't really show the true color of the polishes. So, I took some in my car in sun and shade.

I was at a red light and was trying to hurry up. But, you can see how pretty the glitter and glass flecks are here.

Sinful Colors Pink Forever and Sinful Colors Pinky Glitter.

I know a lot of us have someone who has been directly affected by Breast Cancer. For me it is my Godmother. She is a survivor. She had a double mastectomy. She is doing well. I love her so much. Here is a picture of her in a family photo. She is on the bottom left, in front of her daughter (my God sister). I am hugging my mom in the dark green plaid shirt. The girl in the back is a cousin from Korea. You can see this is a very old picture, lol.

PCOS Awarness Manicure

A girl in our group asked if any of us would like to do a PCOS Awareness manicure to raise awareness.

The colors are teal and white.

I did a different style on each hand.

I used 2 coats Essie Blanc for white base.

1 coat Ruby Kisses Baby Blue (which is a teal glitter)

1 coat Milani Teal (large teal and green glitter) 

Then I used a paintbrush with Sinful Colors Rise & Shine to paint the ribbon.

1 coat Seche Vite top coat.

I received some tempory tattoos in the mail today

 that I wanted to try right away.

So, this is the result.

I used 3 coats China Glaze Visit Me in Prisim.

Then I put the temporary tattoos on using this tutorial.

I painted on the ribbon, letters and heart with Sinful Colors Rise and Shine.

1 layer of Seche Vite.
