Kleancolor Metallic Purple

Hey!
Here is a metallic polish by Kleancolor.
I received this as a gift from a sweet friend on Facebook.
She also sent me some other Kleancolor metallics in the same package.
Very kind of her and I will def put them to use.

Kleancolor is known for its cheap price ($1) and strong smell.
Personally, I don't even notice the smell.
However, the polishes Kleancolor makes that are not metallic
like the holos and glitters take forever, if ever, to dry on me.
I hate that because their chunky holos and regular holos are very pretty.

Anyway, back to this beauty.
The above picture is with top coat and outside with natural daylight.
That is one coat!
Metallics are awesome at being one coaters.
With top coat, this polish is amazing!
It has a glow-y effect but is still a pretty vamp purple.
Calling all purple lovers!
Hehe.

Below is one coat of Metallic Purple, no top coat.
You can see the silver particles in the polish here.

Then below is with 1 layer of top coat.
You can see the silver particles disappear once the top coat is added.
I think this is a much better look for this polish.
And now look back at the top picture to see how it is in the sun.
Perfection!

Purple Mani with Glitter and Butterflies

Catrice Dirty Berry (Pinkie, Ring & Thumb)
Maybelline Lavender Sparks (Middle)
Color Club Eternal Beauty (Index)
Glitter accents with Mardi Gras multi color

Hey! I received Catrice Dirty Berry as a birthday gift.
I wore it the same day.
I believe the below picture is 2 coats.
Dirty Berry is a blue tinted dingy lavender with hints of holo...I hate to use that word.
But, it is a dirty lavender, lol.
I also purchased a multi colored glitter from Rite Aid I wanted to try.
So, I decided to add some glitter and stickers.
The last picture was what I started with.
The next day I cleaned out the garage and washed my car.
2 nails got chipped. Instead of removing each nail.
I just replaced the pointer and middle finger with the above polishes.
I like the end result the best.
Maybelline Lavender Sparks is an awesome light purple glitter polish.
I highly recommend it.
It goes on great in 2 coats and doesn't dry grainy.
So pretty!
I do not have to tell how awesome Color Club Eternal Beauty is.

Thanks for stopping by!

BSJ 13 Holographic

BSJ 13 (3 coats)

Hey!
Oh the crap I went through for this beauty.
I won't get into details, but if finally came from China.
And I won't be doing group orders anymore.
I'll leave it at that, lol.

So, the bottle in doors, this polish looks blue.
But, in the sun it looks a dark purple. Hmm...
I believe this is a OPI DS Glamour dupe.
Maybe a tad bit more purple in the sun.
I do not own OPI DS Glamour to compare it to.

Was it worth the trouble? I would say yes.
But, would've been nice to have the other color I ordered as well,
which was more like OPI DS Original
to make it more worth the headache.

This is with out top coat.
Sorry for the lack of clean up!

This is indoors with indirect sunlight.

Candy Lacquer Candies & Sprinkles

Candy Lacquer Candies & Sprinkles accents
over
Sally Hansen Virtual Violet (1 coat)
over
OPI Purple with a Purpose (1 coat)

Hey there, this was not how I intended for this manicure to look.
But, I was rushed had to do what I could in the little time I had.
First, OPI Purple with a Purpose is a wonderful purple polish that was nearly opaque in 1 coat and dried very quickly. I am very glad I picked it up.
Sally Hansen Virtual Violet is a lot more opaque then I thought,
I just wanted some shimmery duo chrome look,
but it covered completely with the one coat, lol.
It dried at a decent time.
Candy Lacquer Candies & Sprinkles is the perfect glitter top coat to me.
It is packed full of the prettiest colors!
Instead of the reds, oranges and basic colors we see in multi colored glitters, it is turquoise, lavender, light pink, fuchsia, and dashes of other colors.

Thanks for stopping by!

No H8 / Color Club Gift of Sparkle

November 8 for No H8: Eradicate Hate in the Nail Polish Blogger Community

Bullying is not funny.  It is not cool.  It is not right.  And more importantly, it is not okay.

Most of us are thankfully residents of countries that support tolerance and many of our families have settled in these places simply for that reason.  Generations later, it is our responsibility to perpetuate that message of tolerance across our new social platforms, including the internet.

As members of the nail polish community, we all share a love of beauty, color, and lacquer.  Other than that, we are remarkably different: from our race to our religion to our hair color and even to our polish application techniques.  To look down on anyone because of those differences is completely unacceptable and today I take a stand against that.  I refuse to allow other people's view of "normal" dictate how I behave, believe, and blog.

In solidarity with a multitude of bloggers linked below, my purple manicure represents my proud commitment to the No H8 movement.  Today, November 8, I dedicate my post  to ending bullying of any kind and to encouraging diversity and imperfection among our colorful community.

I chose to wear Color Club Gift of Sparkle for
today's manicure in honor of No H8.
As a child and teen I was bullied/teased for many number of things ranging from my race, my weight, being a foster child, my teeth, and even my name. I won't go into details, but I will say I have no tolerance for it as a victim and most especially as a parent of 3 children.

Back to the polish.
From the Color Club Holiday 2012 Winter Affair Collection
Color Club Gift of Sparkle was a disappointment for me.
Gift of Sparkle is a purple red glitter polish with holographic glitter accents. It was very thick and hard to apply. It needed thinner, which I did not have with me at work. So, I had to deal with it by trying to put as thin of coats as I could. The pictures show 3-4 thin coats. It was very gritty once it was dry, so 2 coats of top coat was needed. It went on darker than how it looks in the bottle. I took a lot of pictures, please view them below.

Below is a picture with my camera phone.
It looks a tad bit darker purple here than it really is.

Below is a picture with my camera phone.
I made it blurry, so you could see the holographic glitters.

Below is another picture with my camera phone.

Light box shot below, you can see it needed 1 more coat of top coat.

You can see how thick it is below.

Here is a close up over the bottle below.
You can see it the red and holographic bits mixed in the purple here.
