Christmas Nails, Again!

Hey there!

Here are some more Christmas nails with stickers.
This time I used Milani Red Glitter, Orly Here Comes Trouble (green glitter),
and OPI Sky Slope Sweetie (white gold).

After all that was dry, some top coat and an extra coat on the glitters.
I added some stickers from eBay and a couple more coats of top coat.

I really like OPI Sky Slope Sweetie by the way!
It was opaque white in 2 coats with a wonderful gold shimmer.
I recommend adding it to your collection if you
are like me and love good polishes.

Nothing really wow about my completed manicure.
But, it was cute enough for my son's Christmas party at school :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Isn't he adorable?!
They made a couple of crafts and that was about it for the Christmas Party! lol

Christmas Nails

Hey there!
I hope your week is going well.
Mine has been awesome.
I attended a Winter White Party on Monday with
my husband and friends that was in support of cancer research.
It is always fun to party and help a good cause.
Anywho, here is a quick manicure I did using a few different polishes
and adding some Christmas stickers I bought from eBay
that came from China.
I hope to show you more Christmas manicures before
the big day.
Thanks for stopping by!

Ninja Polish Melted Snowman

Ninja Polish Melted Snowman (1 coat)
over
Sinful Colors Cinderella (2 coats)
over
Color Club Factory Girl (2 coats)
with
Top Coat (1 coat)

Hey there! I didn't plan on wearing this manicure.
I am always on a mission to wear my untrieds.
Sinful Colors Cinderella is one of them.
I wore it for 3 days and posted in a group
about how pleased I was with the wear time.

(I coupled it with Color Club Factory Girl and Top Coat)
I put a picture of that at the end.

And the maker of Ninja Polish, Rhonni, said she wore Ninja Polish Melted Snowman over the same manicure.
So, of course I had to do that! lol

Here is what Ninja Polish says about Melted Snowman...

"Melted Snowman is part of the 2012 Ninja Polish Holiday collection. Melted Snowman is a super fun and cute polish for the winter season!! Layer it over any chosen color to give the appearance that a snowman just melted on your nails!!! We personally love it over a light baby blue!!! So wintery and fun!"

I bought Melted Snowman on Black Friday.
I think it is currently sold out.
But, there are many other polishes on the site for a great price.

You can see the shimmer here.

Update on my weight/fat loss journey.

I weighed in this morning and am back down to my low weight I was in October, 124. Yay!
I have been eating small portions of healthy clean food.
Super proud of myself.
I even resisted when we went to restaurants and ordered salads or
just a steak and broccoli.
I have worked out, but not enough.

Thanks for reading!

Christmas Nails

Nicole by OPI Kardashing Through The Snow (1 coat)
over
China Glaze Red Satin (2 coats)
with
Christmas Stickers
and
Top Coat (2 coats)

Merry Christmas!
What a wonderful day :)
My kids are spoiled, but it's great to be able to provide them with gifts.
My husband gave me a Pandora bracelet with 4 cute charms.

Here are my Christmas day nails.
I wore China Glaze Red Satin yesterday.
I thought it was a perfect color for the day.
Of course, another easy manicure for the busy day.
Nicole by OPI Kardashing Through The Snow is a clear based polish
with small glitters in gold, silver, red, green and turquiose colors.
This polish isn't very 'Christmas-y' to me because of the turquiose glitter.
The glitters are not dense enough to be worn alone, if you want full coverage.

I did a few other christmas theme manicures that
didn't quite make it to get good pictures.
But, you can view those at the bottom anyway :P

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your day is full of love.

This was a hot mess, lol.
But, It was one manicure I did in the spirit of Christmas.

China Glaze Twinkle Lights and Red Satin

China Glaze Red Satin (2 coats)
with
China Glaze Twinkle Lights accent
with
Bow Stickers
Top coat (2 coats)

Happy Christmas Eve!
These are my Christmas eve nails.
There have been so many cute manicures with nail art and stamping.
I haven't had time to be that creative, so this is what I came up with.
China Glaze Red Satin is from the Holiday Joy Holiday 2012 collection.
Red Satin is a blue-based red creme that reminds me of old fashioned red.
Like, my mom probably wore this color on her toes in the 70s-80s.
China Glaze Twinkle Lights is from the Let it Snow Holiday 2011 collection.
Twinkle Lights is a clear base glitter polish with tons of gold, green, and red glitters.
Twinkle Lights can be worn alone in 2-3 coats.

Different Dimension Blue Christmas

Different Dimension Blue Christmas (1 coat)
over
Pure Ice A List (2 coats)
Top coat (1 coat)

Hey! Things have been hectic for me lately.
My husband is sick with the flu and strep throat.
So, I have been carrying his load at our store and
of course at home with the kids.
That means no me time.
I wanted to post a couple swatches.
Oh well! He is getting better though :)
And I have been taking tons of vitamins and
drinking lots of water to dodge his sickness, lol.

Here is a light blue glitter manicure for you to see.
It's not my favorite.
I think I picked a funky underwear that didn't show of the glitter top coat.
What do you think?
I paired it with Pure Ice A List. A discontinued light frost blue color I bought at Wal-mart for $1.97 plus tax.
I don't care for frosts because it shows all the imperfections on the nail.
I have peeling issues on my nails.
Luckily the glitter covered the obvious uneven parts.

Different Dimension Blue Christmas a clear polish with really pretty light blue, white, grey small and medium glitters in hexagon, diamond and square shapes with tiny holographic glitter accents.

Here is what Different Dimension said about Blue Christmas...
"Blue Christmas is a polish I've been looking for for years
 and finally made myself!
It has a clear base, holographic blue and silver glitter, white, blue and silver holographic hexes."

Ninja Polish Shattered Star

Ninja Polish Shattered Star (2 coats)
over
Nina Pro Big Spender (2 coats)
with
Top coat (2 coats)

Hey again. I hope every one's weekend went well.
Mine was nice and romantic with my husband.
Anyway, to the polish.

I am trying to wear all of my holiday polishes before Christmas comes, I do not know if I will make it in time, lol.

Here is Ninja Polish's Shattered Star over Nina Pro Big Spender.
I love the combination of the two.
I purchased Ninja Polish Shattered Star on their website
and I bought Nina Pro Big Spender at Sally's Beauty Supply.

Big Spender is a champagne colored gold metallic polish
that is opaque is 2-3 coats.

Ninja Polish describes Shattered Star...
"Shattered Star is part of the 2012 Ninja Polish Holiday collection.
This polish was originally named something else however thanks to Karen E.
it was changed last minute!!
This polish is made up of many various sizes of holographic and
metallic gold and silver glitters....
and in all aspects looks like a shattered star!
This polish can cover your nail in 2-3 coats, but can be fabulous as a layering polish!"

I really like Shattered Star. The application was easy and it built up nicely.
It can be worn alone in 3 coats. But, I wanted to layer it.
The holographic glitter accents really make this polish special. The brush is awesome, too. I added a picture of it below.

Thanks for stopping by :)

Ninja Polish No Peeking!

Ninja Polish No Peeking! (1 coat dabbed on)
over
Sally Hansen Emerald City (2 coats)
with
 Top coat (1 coat)

Hello! I am wearing my most anticipated polish from the
Ninja Polish 2012 Holiday collection, No Peeking!
I have been in love with green lately and this was the exact color of green I love. Since No Peeking is a clear based glitter polish, I wanted to pair it with a tad bit darker green to help the green glitters pop.
I think Emerald City by Sally Hansen fits perfectly.
I bought SH Emerald City at a dollar store that had two polishes in one pack.
It was opaque in 2 coats and had a decent dry time.
After that was dry, I dabbed on 1 coat of Ninja Polish No Peeking! A couple of stars came out on their own, but I didn't have to fish much to find a  few more. It looks like a festive Christmas tree on my fingernails :)

Here is what Ninja Polish said about No Peeking!...

"No Peeking! is part of the 2012 Ninja Polish Holiday collection. No Peeking! is a bright, vibrant fun glitter polish. It is opaque in 2 coats thanks to the ultra fine and small green glitters. Scattered in amogst the green (tree!) you will find red and blue squares (are these presents?! or ornaments?!) and yellow hexes (more oranments maybe?) and an occasional shining holographic star to top the tree!"

No Peeking! is still in stock
