Dance Legend New Messiah

Hello fellow polish lovers!
Here is a wonderful holographic polish by Dance Legend.
This is called New Messiah, number 7.
I started with 1 coat of Duri Rejuvacote and then 1 coat of Orly Bonder.
Then I applied 2 coats of Dance Legend New Messiah
and then 1 coat of HK Girl Fast dry top coat.
I am very impressed by all of the Dance Legend
holographic polishes' formulas.
They go on with such ease and dry quickly.
The color on this one is very unique for a gold.
New Messiah is a light champagne gold that has a glow-y effect
in the shade and low lights.
You can see this in the 3rd picture below.
I wore this manicure for a couple of days, then I decided to
practice my newbie skills on stamping.
I used Color Club Revvvolution to stamp with a zebra print.
Personally, I think it looked better without the stamping.
But, it was practice and only lasted one more day.

You can buy these for about $13 at these online stores...

www.ninjapolish.com

I bought mine for color4nails and she shipped quickly!

The price does seem a little high, but the quality is there and
with the polishes only taking 1-2 coats for full coverage, I think
they are worth every penny.

You can see the strong holographic linear effect in the picture above.

This picture above shows it in low light, see the dreaminess of this gold?

And my attempt at stamping is there, lol.

I bought some super cute shoes while school shopping for the kids.
I needed a reward! lol
The holographic BOBS shoes are so comfy!
Super stoked to add these shoes to my collection :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Color Club Harp on It

Hey there!
We were on our way to the lake (which is like a 45 minute drive)
So, I painted my nails on the way there.
This is with 2 coats of Color Club Harp on It
and 1 coat of HK Girl top coat.
I used Duri Rejuvacote as the base.
Basically, these pictures speak for the polish.
AMAZING.
I did a full manicure and my toes, too!
I wear this polish a lot.
When in doubt (and in the sun) go with a silver holographic polish.
Color Club Harp on It and Urban Decay Silver holo are the best
silver holos in my collection. (and the cheapest!)

Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Challenge- Black Cat / LOTD

Hey again :) I am happy with my black cat nails. I was going to freehand a fence with a cat on it with the moon in the sky...but, I thought an up close and personal face would be better. I just googled "Black Cat Face" and used a real cat's eyes to use as a reference. I added the nose to include my lonely thumb, lol.

My LOTD

I don't know if its the new shampoo I am using.
But, my hair is super curly all of a sudden. Its usually just wavy, but its crossed over to curly now. So, I had to flat iron it. Frying my hair is not something I like to do unless I am going out with friends. But, I couldn't have that curly mop on my head today. I wore a BEBE shirt my mom bought for me a long time ago (7 years!). Still fits great and looks new. Win Win :)
Jessica Simpson Jeggings for my pants, which are my FAV pants.
Sooooo comfy. I have short legs and a big behind. Her jeggings fit me perfect.
I am wearing some boots I bought at Marshall's last year for about $19.
My face is all Urban Decay.
My lips are Maybelline 10 hour lip stain in Fresh Fuchsia.
Does it stay on for 10 hours? Maybe if you put it on and didn't move for 10 hours, lol. For me, I put it on probably 3 times during a 10 hour period. This includes reapplying after I eat. I think that is awesome.

LOTD

Hello! Today's look is comfy and casual. I will start with my make up.
My face is smashbox primer, foundation Christian Dior Diorskin Eclat Satin Fluid, powder is Christian Dior Matte and blush Wet n Wild Heather Silk.
My eyes are Urban Decay eye primer, Milani Shadow Eyez in Aquatic Style and Urban Decay Blitz (Gold shade from the Vice Palette) with a base Anonymous (Light beige shade from the Vice Palette)
I love Milani Shadow eyez. Extremely pigmented fun colors that stay on ALL day for a great price of about $6-7. I bought mine at a CVS drugstore.
My eyeliner is Lancome liquid eyeliner and
my lashes are Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara.
My lips are a Estee Lauder lipgloss color from a palette.
Its a nude rose shade.
Clothes and Shoes
I have on a comfy satin top I bought from JcPenny's in 2006. I love the colors of turquiose and lime it has and obviously that's what inspired the eye colors. My shoes I bought from Payless. Simple flats by American Eagle. I believe they were about $20. My dog has chewed 3 pairs of my plain black flats (amoung many of my other shoes), so I gave up on getting expensive brands. What is sad is she takes them out of the shoe closet and picks only my shoes...and only 1 shoe of the pair.
Here is a picture of my shoe bandit. Her name is Lola. She is a Presa Canario.

Pebble Beach- Fire Opal Step 4/ LOTD

Hello! In between doing Halloween challenges I wanted to post some polishes that haven't received any love. First up is Pebble Beach Fire Opal Step 4 .
There are a total of 4 steps, which are shades that are supposed to be applied as a gradient. I only picked up this one, which is the darkest of the four steps. The formula is thick and opaque in basically 1 coat, although I used 2 coats to be sure. It is sort of matte, foil, and gritty at the same time. My pictures show it without top coat.
I really love this color for fall.
I believe this is sold in some Walgreens and beauty supply stores for around $3  or less each.

Next I tried Pebble Beach Ruby Step 4
This is a dark burgundy with the same finish as Fire Opal Step 4.
Below is only 1 coat. I am amazed at the coverage of this nail polish.
I just put the one coat and let it be. I personally like the foil matte look.

And here is my look for the day.
I didn't put much make up on, you can see I look tired.
I love my earrings and sequin flats, though :)
Thanks for reading!

Day 22-Inspired By a Song-LOTD-Mail

Day 22
Inspired by a Song

Hey! Today's manicure is inspired by a song.
Tonight I am going to a friend's concert. His name is Rowdy B. There are a lot of things going on tonight. But, since we are trying to support his career, we are going to his concert. I picked on of his songs, High Life. I was in this video, so I thought it was fitting. I will post pictures of tonight for you guys tomorrow. You can see where my thumb is healing.

Last night we went to our friend Isa's birthday dinner. Here are some pictures from that. You can also see how I was inspired to do my nails...I had on a dress I bought from www.GreatGlam.com. I love to shop from that website. Good selection, true sizes, fast delivery and nice service. My shoes are my favorite brand, Jessica Simpson. My jewelry is from my store. The girl with the long black hair next to me in the pictures is the birthday girl, Isa. She doesn't look 36, does she?

Today's mail!
The Vice palette. I am going to try it out tonight for the concert. I also got a back up mascara and and a lipstick in Pistol color.

Blue Christmas, Light it Up Blue (Glow in the Dark), Spectral Tiger (Glow in the Dark), Fight Like a Girl, Ectoplasm (Glow in the Dark)

Day 18- Half Moon- Halloween Nails

Day 18
Half Moon

Hello again :) My cat attacked my hand, so I have scratches on them :(
I couldn't decide on which colors to do my manicure for the half moon theme. I thought I would add some nail stickers to it, regardless of whatever I did chose. With that in mind, I picked a nail sticker first. Originally I chose some tropical flower stickers that were yellow, green and orange with glitter accents. But, After I painted my nails I realized they look just like candy corn. Halloween stickers are abundant in my stash, so that's what I picked instead. I used scotch tape and cut them into semi circles instead of the circle stickers I see people using. I only had tape. You can see my semi circles are not symmetrical. I was hoping the stickers would distract from that imperfection. I used Color Club-Almost Famous for the yellow (2 coats) and 1 coat Ruby Kisses-Spicy Apricot and 1 coat Out the Door top coat. The result is so so.

I also did my Day 19 nails (Galaxy), which I love and will post tomorrow.
My toes got some attention, too. I wore my favorite Orly's Haley's Comet topped with Orly's Mermaid's Tale. 1 coat of each and 1 coat of Out the Door Top coat. They are very sparkly.

I did not go to work today. I stayed home did laundry and reorganized part of my closet and my downstairs shoe closet. I have about 60 shoes...lol...who knew? Here is a picture of it below.

Day 17- Glitter

Day 17
Glitter
I own a lot of glitter polishes. I had a hard time deciding on which to wear. So, I went against the glitter bombs and went for a subtle color shift Ozotic 528 over 505 over black.
I mentioned in another post I was going to a UGA game.
Here is the only picture I remembered to take before I got tipsy, lol.
I am moving my hand, but besides that, its an OK picture.
Here is another one a friend took

Here is my LOTD
I am trying to wear more clothes, shoes and
make up that I have not given attention to in awhile.
I wore a lot of different brands of make up today.
I have on Urban Decay Gunmetal (Grey),
a Lancome matte cream color from a gift with purchase palette, and a black glitter shadow from the drugstore, I can't remember the brand right now. Lashes are Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara. Liquid liner is Loreal. My lips are Maybelline lip stain in Coral (red) and my cheeks are elf mellow muave.

Urban Decay just released the Vice Palette AND their Big Fatty Mascara is on sale for $5 (compared to $20) When I get home I have a $5 off coupon I am going to use on this purchase :) Oh yeah, shipping is free! Yay!

Day 13- Animal Print- LOTD

Day 13
Animal Print

I really like how this turned out.
My inspiration was Rebecca from Rebecca Likes Nails.
Today is her day of birth and some of her favorite colors are teal and pink.
Oh and I think animal print is her favorite, too.
I received Nicole by OPI- A Million Sparkles from a swap with Sarah at Chalkboard Nails. She was really sweet and added a pretty brown color by Loreal in the swap. I will be sure to wear that here soon with fall approaching.
A Million Sparkles is a wonderful glitter polish that was opaque in 2 coats. The bar glitters in it are short enough were they don't poke out like a lot of bar glitter polishes do. The accent nail was 1 coat OPI If You Moust You Moust topped with 1 coat OPI Teenage Dream. The dots are Sally Hansen Calypso and WnW Black Cream.
My fast dry top coat is Out the Door.

LOTD (Look of the Day)

Today was light brown and black with a dash of silver stud accents.
For my make up I wore Urban Decay shadows Underground (brown), Shag (light brown), Zero (black), and Vanilla (cream). My lashes and eyeliner are Loreal. My lips are Maybelline lip stain in Ruby Indulgence.
The metal ring and wrap leather studded bracelet are from my store. My nails can be seen better in the picture at the top of the page. And last, but not least, my shoes are from my sweet friend, Leighanne. She gave me these babies because she said they were too small for her.
Here is a picture of her and I from March.

Diet and stuff...
Well, I haven't done any workouts. But, I am not pigging out either. So, again, I am the same weight.

Day 12- Stripes

Day 12-Stripes
Cheshire Cat
I painted this on my left had. I am left handed, so you can see how this was harder for me to paint with my right hand.
 But, its OK.
 What do you think?
My inspiration is from nailcrazyblog.blogspot.com. However, I do not see the blog anymore.

Here is her pic...

And from the Disney cartoon "Alice in Wonderland"
The Cheshire Cat

These are the polishes and tools I used...

I said I would show you what I bought from Target...here are some pics....

These  are the shirts I got. $14.99 each for the Hello Kitty ones and I think $19.99 for the Vixen one. The Vixen one has lace on the shoulders. I seem to wear a lot of grey, lol.

I needed some cowboy boots for my Halloween costume and I am sure I will wear them on other days, too. Aren't they cute?!
The other 2 are Mossimo brand and the style is called Vivian.
VERY COMFORTABLE heels. Great for pant suits. I think they came in 2 more colors...I can't remember which right now.

And while I was at CVS I picked up some Spoiled polishes. These are actually the only Spoiled brand I own. Checkin' into Rehab (Dark Purple with flecks), Are Mermaids Real? (Purple with gold flecks), Jewelry Heist (Glitter) and Shrimp on the Barbie (Pink with Gold Flecks/Shimmer). There are all $1.99 each.
The 2 blues ones are from Different Dimension from etsy. The lighter blue one glows in the dark :)
I used a coupon I saw on Chalkboard Nails blog  where she reviewed her polishes.

Mellow Mauve and Fuchsia Blush for $3 each. They had 5 colors to chose from.
The eye shadow brush was $1
