Ruby Kisses Mardi Gras

Ruby Kisses Mardi Gras (1 coat)
over
Color Club Fashion Moment (3 coats)
with
Top coat (1 coat)

Hey again. I wanted to wear some untrieds.
I started with a Color Club no name that came in a set I bought at Marshalls.
After googling some pictures I found out it is called Fashion Moment.
Color Club Fashion Moment is from the 2012 Fall Collection.
It is a very dark purple creme.
I don't really care for the formula. It was patchy for a creme polish.
But, it worked out after 3 coats.

Then I added Ruby Kisses Mardi Gras.
I bought this glitter polish at a beauty supply for under $2.
Mardi Gras is a clear based polish with small blue and purple glitter and silver holographic bar glitters.
It is ideal for layering, but can be worn alone in about 3-4 coats.
Although, I think it would be much better as a top coat.
Dry time was great and the formula was perfect.

Thanks for stopping by!

Ruby Kisses Ruby Slippers / LOTD

Ruby Kisses- Ruby Slippers
Shown with 2 coats and 1 coat top coat.
Red jelly base polish with small silver glitters.
The color seems a brighter red in these pictures than it is in real life.
I took a couple pictures below with my camera phone
to show truer shade of it.
I really love this polish. I bought it at a Beauty Supply for $1.99.
Worth every penny, plus more!
This easily is on my top 5 of red polishes.

Below is a picture with indirect sunlight. This is more true to the color.

Below is a picture of it blurry to show the shimmer from the glitter.
So prettyyyy!!

My ring today. Cute little owl stretch ring.

LOTD
Neutral browns from Urban Decay.
Midnight 15, Midnight Rodeo, Deeper and M.I.A. with Vanilla accent.
Lancome lipstick, liquid liner and mascara and Maybelline blush.

The Halloween Challenge- Trick or Treats

Hello! I am a couple days late on starting this challenge.
Better late than ever!
I started with a 1 coat of WnW Black Creme then added
1 coat of Up Colors Viagem and then put 1 coat of fast dry.
After it was dry I added the stickers then
topped it off with Warpaint Beauty Matte.
Flakie polishes pop better with a matte top coat in my book.
I would have rather put some ghost or skeleton stickers,
but the challenge asked for candy.
Up Color Viagem is a great flakie polish.
You can see all the flakes from just 1 coat.
Up Colors Viagem a 2! is red, gold and green flakies in a yellow base.
See below for the color shifts.

I stopped by a beauty supply and picked up some goodies for low prices.
From Left to Right....
Ruby Kisses-Cast a Spell, Ruby Kisses Mardi Gras, NYX Moon Walk, NYX Enchanted Forest, Kleancolor Metallic Green and NYX Luscious Green.
The Ruby Kisses were $1.99, NYX $1.49 and Kleancolor was $1.

Day-30 Inspired by a Tutorial

Day 30
Inspired by a Tutorial
Hello! Today I tried a easy tutorial. I started with a base coat of Orly Nail Defense. Then I striped with Color Club What a Shock (Neon Green), Color Club Almost Famous (Yellow), Ruby Kisses Hot Pink Obsession. Then I added striping tape in zig zags after the nail polish dried. Then I added 1 coat of Sinful Colors Whats Your Name (Shimmer Black). My mistake was I added my top coat too soon. There are smudges from the application. So, my tip to you is to make sure your black coat is somewhat dry before adding topcoat.

Here are a couple of pictures from the game yesterday against Tennessee.

This is my husband and I.

This is my friend Leighanne and me.
