Kleancolor Metallic Purple

Hey!
Here is a metallic polish by Kleancolor.
I received this as a gift from a sweet friend on Facebook.
She also sent me some other Kleancolor metallics in the same package.
Very kind of her and I will def put them to use.

Kleancolor is known for its cheap price ($1) and strong smell.
Personally, I don't even notice the smell.
However, the polishes Kleancolor makes that are not metallic
like the holos and glitters take forever, if ever, to dry on me.
I hate that because their chunky holos and regular holos are very pretty.

Anyway, back to this beauty.
The above picture is with top coat and outside with natural daylight.
That is one coat!
Metallics are awesome at being one coaters.
With top coat, this polish is amazing!
It has a glow-y effect but is still a pretty vamp purple.
Calling all purple lovers!
Hehe.

Below is one coat of Metallic Purple, no top coat.
You can see the silver particles in the polish here.

Then below is with 1 layer of top coat.
You can see the silver particles disappear once the top coat is added.
I think this is a much better look for this polish.
And now look back at the top picture to see how it is in the sun.
Perfection!

My first franken and stamping!

Hey! I made this franken back in April 2012.
 I never wore it.
I was cleaning out my stash and saw it and thought "why not?"
I put a picture of it plain below.
Its a purple polish with a few different sized glitter in it.
It looked really plain so I tried stamping.
I am not good at stamping. But, I want to be better.
So, here is a pretty good attempt (for me anyways).
I added a coat of Hits Hefesto for a little holo action :)
I still have this on my left hand with barely any tip wear.
I put it on Sunday.
Yay!

Close up, you can see my boo boos with stamping, lol.

Here is my franken by itself with 3 coats.

Here is another manicure I wore over the weekend.
This is Sinful Colors Bali Mist (2 coats)
over Color Club Pucc-licious
I think I had a blue shirt on, because that reflection is not the polish.

This is another manicure I wore.
Santee Blue Pearl 2 coats
Kleancolor Blue Holo 1 coat
It took 40 minutes for the Kleancolor Blue Holo to dry on me, that's with Fast Dry top coat!
But, the end result is nice :)
I'm going on my 3rd day and no chips, just tip wear on 2 nails.
I am still wearing this on my right hand, lol.
I put this on Monday.

I am getting tired of the red red red hair I have
and I was thinking of going this look by Spring.
Still not decided.
What do you think?
My online friends said, yes.

Halloween-Jack-o-Lantern and Bats

Halloween Nails
Bats and Jack-o-Lantern
Kleancolor Metallic Mango
Hello! I wanted to use this awesome metallic orange color by Kleancolor.
It is such a vibrant metallic orange! It retails for about $1 at beauty supply stores. I put some decals and a sticker on top.
The coverage was great in 1 coat, but I put 2 just to make sure. The dry time was a little longer than most metallic nail polishes.
The color makes it worth it though and you can't beat that price :)

Chunky Holo Purple over Love at First Lavender/ LOTD

Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple over Sation Love at First Lavender
2 coats of Love at First Lavender and
1 coat of Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple.
I wasn't wowed by Love at First Lavender, but it is a pretty color.
It was a little runny, but manageable.
Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple took forever to dry. I didn't have a top coat.
But, I still waited 30 minutes and it wasn't dry.
The manicure was pretty, though.

And here is my LOTD
My husband took a bunch of pictures of me at work, lol.
Urban Decay- Ace (dark grey) eyeshadow blended
with Vanilla (cream) and Blackout (black).
Lancome liquid eyeliner and Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara.
Urban Decay eye primer.

Urban Decay lipstick in Pistol.

The Halloween Challenge- Zombies

The Halloween Challenge
Zombies

Today's challenge was a bit challenging for me. I picked 4 different themes, then settled on the easiest one.
My middle finger is being attacked by my zombie fingers! lol.
I used Kleancolor neon green, which is NOT neon. It also took forever to dry. Cool color, awful dry time.
Then basic black, white, red and nude painted on.
The result is funny. I think so, anyway :)

The Halloween Challenge- Trick or Treats

Hello! I am a couple days late on starting this challenge.
Better late than ever!
I started with a 1 coat of WnW Black Creme then added
1 coat of Up Colors Viagem and then put 1 coat of fast dry.
After it was dry I added the stickers then
topped it off with Warpaint Beauty Matte.
Flakie polishes pop better with a matte top coat in my book.
I would have rather put some ghost or skeleton stickers,
but the challenge asked for candy.
Up Color Viagem is a great flakie polish.
You can see all the flakes from just 1 coat.
Up Colors Viagem a 2! is red, gold and green flakies in a yellow base.
See below for the color shifts.

I stopped by a beauty supply and picked up some goodies for low prices.
From Left to Right....
Ruby Kisses-Cast a Spell, Ruby Kisses Mardi Gras, NYX Moon Walk, NYX Enchanted Forest, Kleancolor Metallic Green and NYX Luscious Green.
The Ruby Kisses were $1.99, NYX $1.49 and Kleancolor was $1.

Day 6- Lavender Nails / LOTD / Weight

Urban Decay shadows Minx (soft sage green) and  URB (shimmery green) and Half Baked (light golden brown) from the "We don't do animal testing...How could anyone?" palette.
And for highlight I used Urban Decay-Vanilla
from the 15th Anniversary palette.
Maybelline lip stain, forgot the color.
I darkened the outside of the picture because the background was a bathroom, lol. So, my hair looks darker than it is.

My nails today
KBShimmer-Lilac Dreams
Extremely pretty polish that is something every polish lover
needs if they like purple.

Freehand Butterfly Mani

Butterfly Freehand Purple

Hello,
I tried to do the butterfly art on my nails and this is the result.
It was "meh" to me andlasted all of 18 hours, lol.
I painted my nails "Pure Ice-No Means No" first with 2 coats.
That was too plain, so I added one coat "Kleancolor-Holo Chrome."

It was pretty, but there was no sun, so I added the butterfly design
and some fast dry top coat.
And here we are :)
I followed this tutorial below.

KLEANCOLOR-CHUNKY HOLO TEAL

KLEANCOLOR Chunky Holo

Picture Heavy post!

I found these polishes and bought
a bunch since they were so cheap.

I will be selling them pretty soon and wanted to swatch some.
Isn't the close up bottle shot pretty?

To start off I put Kleancolor Teal Marble as my base, this is 2 coats and 1 coat fast dry top coat.
I am happy with this color
and the application was good.
All the pictures besides one were taken in a light box with artificial lighting.
Below is with my camera phone in the sun.

So, I did 2 coats of each on my nails and you can't even tell which is which.
That means if you buy any of these, you don't really need the other. Just pick the one that is most pleasing visually in the bottle or available to you to buy.
But, for kicks, the pointer is Chunky Holo Teal
The center finger is Chunky Holo Bluebell

And the ring finger is Chunky Holo Purple.
The pinkie finger is Chunky Holo Teal and Bluebell mixed.
For the price, I usually grab a lot of these. The smell is a little stronger than most nail polishes, but tolerable.
The photograph well ;)
Thanks for reading!
