Different Dimension Light it Up Blue

Howdy there :)
Different Dimension made this polish.
Here is what she said about it...

"Light It Up Blue literally glows blue in the dark -
inspired by Autism Speaks and World Autism Day.

This polish has a light blue jelly base with blue & silver holographic glitters & a few large white hexes and it GLOWS BLUE in the dark!!
I will be donating 2.00 from every sale of this polish (& Puzzle Pieces) to Autism Speaks, so not only are you getting an awesome polish, but your money is also going towards an amazing charity!"

This polish glows blue in the dark! Very cool.
I failed to get any pictures of it glowing in the dark.
However, you can click the link above to see some swatches of it glowing.
I chose to wear 1 coat of Light it Up Blue
over 2 coats of Sally Hansen Calypso Blue.
Then I topped it off with 1 coat of top coat.
Even without the cool factor of it glowing, its really pretty. I especially love the holographic glitters that float in the light blue jelly base and the large white glitters add a little somethin' somethin'

Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Challenge- Ghosts / LOTD

This is Halloween Nail Art Challenge
Ghosts
Hello again :) Glow in the Dark polish is my new thing...
well this week anyway, lol.
Here is a .5 oz/ 15 ml pumpkin glow in the dark polish I picked up at Rite Aid for $2.99. It has iridescent glitter inside and goes on easily. I started with my base coat of Orly Nail defense and then 2 coats of Color Club Twiggie. You can see this below. I do NOT like the formula on Twiggie. It goes on uneven and the brush is small that it makes it worse. Below 2 coats. I didn't want to do more than 2 coats because of the layers of top coat and glow in the dark I was going to add. I had a hard time using the stickers on this one. I ripped 4-5 of them trying to get them off the paper. I was being really careful, too. It was frustrating, but turned out cute. I bought the stickers from Ebay. Below are more pictures and my LOTD

LOTD
Casual to the extreme, lol.
I have vowed to workout today, so I wore sneakers to remind myself when I get home to go to the gym.
Urban Decay Naked Foundation, Chanel Powder, Milani Aquatic Style (tuquiose) blended with Urban Decay Choas (matte blue) and Armor (shimmer grey) Lancome L for the shadowsiquid Eyeliner, Urban Decay Big Fatty Mascara, Milani Fashion Diva gloss.

Hello! I meant to post this yesterday, but I wanted to take a better picture of it then my phone does. And that camera is at my work. Here is Different Dimension Spectral Tiger. It is a Limited Edition glow in the dark polish made by Different Dimension on Etsy. She is currently sold out of Spectral Tiger, sorry. I started with my usual base coat of Orly Nail Defense then I put a polish that I received as a gift from a lovely swap I got from over the pond from Shel. It is called Hot Looks Button Moon. A very pale light blue. To reach opacity it requires 3 coats. You can see on my pinkie and ring finger I put 2 coats and my middle and pointer have 1 coat. I only put 2 coats because I knew I would be layering 2-3 coats of Spectral Tiger.
Different Dimension Spectral Tiger is nuclear glow in the dark as someone described in a group I am in. That is for sure. If you see the post before this one you can see how it out shines my other glow in the dark polishes. It is pretty in the light as well. It has Iridescent and holographic glitters in it.
After all my coats dried I added my stickers, then 2 coats of fast dry top coat by Out the Door. I am not getting any shrinking from out the door. Thank goodness, because Seche Vite ruined a bunch of my manicures.

Glow in the Dark Polish Comparison

Hey! Quick post about my glow in the dark nail polishes. I wanted to show the difference in the intensity of their glowing power! They were all in the sun for about 5 minutes. Equal time for all. From left to right; Pumpkin Glow-in-the-Dark in glitter light green/yellow, Different Dimension Light It Up Blue,  Different Dimension Spectral Tiger, Different Dimension Ectoplasm, and Hot Topic Skull Glow-in-the-Dark Green.
The clear winner of the brightest glower is Different Dimension Spectral Tiger.
The clear loser is Hot Topic Skull Glow-in-the-Dark Green.
Do these translate on the nails the same way? No, in my swatches, they do not glow quite as much as they do in the bottle. I will post some swatches tomorrow of a couple to show you my results.

I received some nail mail and bought a handful of polishes
 last night and today.
Top Row L to R; Pumpkin Glow-in-the-Dark in glitter light green/yellow, Pumpkin Blue/Purple Glitter ($2.99 each at Rite Aid), Finger Paints Asylum (Blog sale http://mommydoeshernails.blogspot.com/p/blog-sale.html), Essense Where is the Party mini (gift from blog sale, thank you Candice) and Nfu Oh Aqua Base from another blog sale.
Center item is a Halloween duo I bought at CVS called Phantom Frights.
Bottom row was a sale at Walgreens. All The Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure were on sale for $1.89 each, regular $7.49 each. So, I nabbed some basics...
Cafe Au Lait, Naked Ambition, Midnight in NY, Black Platinum
