Colors by Llarowe Monkey See Monkey Do

Colors By Llarowe Monkey See, Monkey Do 2 coats and top coat.
This polish is holographic with holographic glitter. The base is a pretty aqua blue, although I have seen it with different tones of blue, leaning more dark. I like my version best. The color reminds me of tropical ocean waters. After two easy coats, it dried gritty due to the glitter. One thick coat of HK Fast Dry Top coat and it was smooth. Below the picture is blurry to see the holoness better. I had a hard time getting good pictures of this baby. Today there was a pre-order restock on Llarowe's website. I ordered 8 more linear holos, some from her Spring line and a few older ones I wasn't able to catch before they sold out before. You know I will post about those when I wear them. I also received an order from Smitten Polish yesterday of 2 holos and 3 jelly glitters. Same with those, I will post as I wear. They look amazing! I have really been buying a lot of polish lately...I will stop when these indie makers stop making AMAZING polishes, lol. Anyway, thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Dance Legend Just Another Star

Dance Legend Just Another Star 2 coats
OH MY GOODNESS! This is really real.
This is a chunky scattered holographic polish that covered in 2 coats and
is super saturated in color.
My favorite holographic collection is or was
China Glaze Kaleidoscope from 2009.
Dance Legend was able to recreate the glory that China Glaze showed us.
Now, I only have this one polish from the Wow Prism collection
that was just recently released.
I plan on purchasing more, however, the price is a bit high at $13.00 each.
And there are 18 colors in this particular collection.
So, I may just get the ones that really catch my eye and slowly collect the others when I get a chance.
I purchased it from Llarowe.com

But, back to this particular polish, number 30, Just Another Star.
The color is gorgeous.
These photos in the sun make it look a tad bit like fuchsia,
but it is more blue toned in the shade.
The formula is a bit runny, but manageable with care.
Brushing off the excess polish on both sides before applying helps with the uneven application.
The CG Kaleidoscopes are very runny as well. I wonder if the formula on this type of polish needs the to be thin in order for the large particles to be shown properly. It would makes sense if it were.
Below these pictures I will show a swatch picture another blogger took of all the polishes in this collection.
If you look at Just Another Star, the color is more accurate there.

Thanks for stopping by!

Colors by Llarowe Beat It

Colors by Llarowe Beat it 2 coats, no top coat.
Hey again! Wonderful weather we are having here in Atlanta.
Which to me, equals days at the park and of course HOLO wearing, lol.
So, we go from snow and ice in January and early February
to mid February it is in the 70s.
This weather is so whacko. But, it is home.
A lot of changes for me recently.
 I am excited about them.
I sold my business. I am now a stay home mom.
This is a great thing!
I will work part time to train the new owners on how to run the business and such.
But, my main thing is running my house hold of 6 people and 3 pets. Yay!

Anyways, back to why you clicked this post. The polish needs to be talked about!
Beat it is from the Colors by Llarowe
Michael Jackson collection that was released last year, 2013.
The holographic payoff is very obvious in this dark bluish grey beauty.
The formula was a tad bit thick, but evened out by the second coat.
Stay time was decent for a holo not having any top coat on, which is 2 days, then some tip wear was obvious.
But, if you know me, that is plenty long enough.
I had an awesome week for nail mail, so more need to be worn asap! haha.
I also have more on the way...I have a problem or is it?
I'll post a pic below of some of my wonderful nail mail.

Here is today's nail mail.
I ordered this from Llarowe.com.
These are all holographic polishes, lol, of course.
Emily de Molly High Distinction (gold), Emily de Molly Seeing Red (red),
Dance Legend Just Another Star (purple), Joss In a Violet Haze (White Iridescent),
Joss Mermaid's Dream (blue),
Colors by Llarowe This Girl is on Fire...Help! (purple)
This was a replacement for the mislabeled on I received.
and Jade Irresistivel (Champagne)

Colors by Llarowe Rare Bear

Colors by Llarowe Rare Bear
This is 2 coats.
I received this in February when I ordered during one of the restocks.
I was on the fence about this polish and
finally decided to get it after seeing so many awesome swatches.
The base color is like a dusty teal.
But, in the sun HOLY HOLO.
It is hard to tell exactly what the base color is because
of all of the rainbows shooting out like laser beams.

I wore this for a few days before I have some bad chipping.
I did not wear a top coat.

Sorry about my long absence.
I have been wearing and taking pictures of my nails.
I have just be so darn lazy to post about it.
I have never been this lazy before.
I need to shape up soon though.
Wasting my days bumming around.
Although, I love being lazy sometimes. lol

Thanks for stopping by!
