Halloween Hellow Kitty nails

Hey there! Here is a manicure I did using L.A. Girl Electric Coral and some decals. The accent glitter is from Claire's. It's a shredded black matte glitter. I used 3 thin coats of Electric Coral and then after that was dry I added the decals and glitter. I needed about 3 coats of top coat to smoother everything out. I love the results.

Sorry about my absence. I have been doing my nails, not everyday like usual. But, I still do them 1-4 times a week. I will try and post those swatches. Because of my busy schedule lately, I have been experiencing a lot of nail breaks. My nails have been nubs since summer started. Blah! Oh well.
I am contemplating getting gels in a stiletto style. I know my nails will never grow that long to achieve that look otherwise.

Anyways, thanks for stopping by!

Ninja Polish Flibbertigibbet

Ninja Polish Flibbertigibbet
This is ONE coat!
And these pictures were taken 4 days after application!
The color shifts from green to golds and browns on your nails
and if the angle is just right a few other colors might pop in there.
The linear holographic adds a whole other
layer of prismatic explosion to your nails as well!
Unfortunately, Ninja Polish has retired from making and selling polish.
So, unless you happen to find someone selling
this, you may have to find a similar
look from the many other indie makers.
I won't be one of those people selling theirs though, lol.
Thanks for stopping by!

The above picture shows the color shift in the shade.

Jade Irresistivel

Jade Irresistivel 3 thin coats and top coat.

Irresistivel is a gold toned nude linear holographic polish
with little chunks of a copper color mixed in it.
Like all the other Jade holos, the formula goes on like butter.
It stayed for a few days without chipping.
(I changed it before it had a chance to chip)
I was very surprised at how much I loved this polish.
I will be wearing it again whenever I am in the mood for nude.
And it is only $7 on Llarowe.com
I can't say enough about how awesome this polish is!
Thanks for stopping by!

Smitten Polish Mix Holos

Smitten Holo Skittles
I used Audrey's Rainbow on my pinkie and thumb.
Nimbus on my ring and index.
Himalayan Blue Poppy on my middle finger.
Each is shown with 2 coats.
But, 3 might have been better for my middle finger.
I am a big fan of this brand, if you can't already tell.

Smitten Holo Skittles
Radiant Orchid on my pinkie and thumb.
Frangipani on my ring and index finger.
and Nimbus on my middle finger.
2 coats each.
Radiant Orchid is amazing!
Frangipani goes on like butter.
And of course, I love Nimbus a grey toned white holo that covers in 2 coats.

Too Fancy Lacquer Set Fire to the Rain

Too Fancy Lacquer Set Fire to the Rain, 1 coat.
Hello! Look at this Asian import lacquer...
these pictures cannot truly show its beauty.
The depth of the color is so rich.
The blue is like the deep tropical oceans,
like Dory's skin color from Finding Nemo :)

I bought this on an Asian website, but now it is available on...
http://color4nails.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=59_177

Sisi has gotten a lot of great polishes from this company and other
international indie companies!

I made an order last month (bad girl) lol

I ordered some new Too Fancy Lacquers, a new company to me called Celestial Cosmetics,
and Liquid Sky Lacquer.
All were holographic polishes (My weakness)

Too Fancy Lacquer has a 3 Free formula.
Most of her polishes are 1 coaters and some are 2 coaters.
The holographic payoff in this particular polish isn't in your face,
but it glows and mesmerizes while in the sun.
But, is so vibrant, it looks great in doors as well.

If you do not own one, I suggest trying one and if you do want to try one,
I suggest this one or Bejeweled (Turquoise Holo).

Dance Legend Neptune

Dance Legend Neptune #853, 2 coats. No top coat.
This is such a dynamic holographic polish from Russia.
Neptune was released along with
3 other polishes in their Holodays collection.
I also order Blanco from this collection, but have yet to try it.
This beauty took 2 easy coats and
lasted a couple days before chipping started.
Although, I didn't use base or top coat.
The color is like a bright blue jean blue.
The holographic particles are chunky and linear.
I REALLY like this polish and just like my other Dance Legends,
I will be wearing it again.

Thanks for stopping by!

I have entered myself and my family along
with a few groups of my friends
and their kids into the Color Run in downtown Atlanta.
Should be fun!

All the pictures are in direct sunlight.
I did not alter the pictures in anyway.

Smitten Polish Ker-Bloom

Smitten Ker-Bloom, 2 coats
with accent of China Glaze Glistening Snow, 2 coats.
Both have top coat, but China Glaze has 3 coats of top coat.
The color of Ker-Bloom is so beautiful. I am a big blue lover.
This blue jean royal blue is GORGEOUS.
She calls it periwinkle cornflower blue.
This was released in her 2014 Spring collection.
And as usual the holographic pay off is very in your face, just like I like it.
It is still available in her shop along with other fabulous polishes.

How was your Memorial Day weekend?
Mine was spent with all of my best friends on a boat on the lake.
Super fun and tiring at the same time.

Thanks for stopping by!

Smitten Polish Claddagh and Swap Package

Smitten Polish Claddagh 2 coats, no top coat.
Hey again!
Here is one of the newer holographic polishes from Smitten.
I literally put it on within minutes of receiving it.
The color is like a rich jungle green, my favorite type of green.
Smitten holographic polishes are jelly like and are scattered and linear.
I LOVE THEM!
Haha, if you couldn't already tell.
So, like I mentioned above, I put this on right away...
and because of that I did not clean up my cuticles before taking these pics.
Sorry about that.
I put the polish on outside right after I checked the mail,
like I didn't even make it inside my house, LOL.

You get the idea.
Anyway, I opened a swap package today that I LOVE.
It was a secret swap with some other nail polish lovers.
I will post pics below.

Ok, so here is my swap package pics!

Dance Legend Hysteria

Dance Legend Hysteria, 3 thin coats plus top coat.
Be still my beating heart.
Chunky scattered holographic polish in my perfect shade of pink!
I want ALL of the WOW Prisms by Dance Legend.
Dance Legend is my favorite brand now.
I have planned to sell a lot of my unloved polishes and
start to use the money to purchase these babies as well as the
other outstanding releases this company has made and will continue to make.

I apologize for the blurriness of the pictures.
Trust me, the polish is amazing.
I was constantly staring at my nails.

My kids had their end of year parties and they were great!
The cats were late to be ready for pick up (the ones we are adopting)
So, we will get them in the morning.
I will update when Mickey and Minnie arrive :)

Happy Summer!

Ninja Polish Passion Shift

Ninja Polish Passion Shift 2 coats, no top coat.
 (above in the shade)

Hello there!
Today was a great day for me :)
I attended my 8 year old son's award ceremony.
He made straight A's for the year!
Proud momma indeed.
Also, my husband and I made a trip to the local humane society and
adopted 2 black cats, which we will name Mickey and Minnie!
We will be able to pick them up tomorrow
after they receive their last shots and one gets spade.
I am so excited for our new family members to arrive!
Tomorrow is my daughter's award ceremony as well as both kids'
last day of school parties.
Busy day!

Back to the polish...

I wore this a while ago and forgot to post, shame on me!
I did not wear top coat and this baby lasted 4 days without any tip wear!
That is amazing for me, considering how hard I am on my nails
and that it is a holographic polish without top coat.
As you can see it also shifts colors in the shade from mostly purple and blue.
SWOON!

This polish as well as many other Ninja Polish brands are out of stock.
You can follow the restock here...http://www.ninjapolish.com/Spectrum/
It is worth following though, for sure.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your day/night is going well :)

Smitten Polish Audrey's Rainbow

Smitten Polish Audrey's Rainbow with accent Nimbus
2 coats of each, no top coat.
Hello, there.
I have been away because of my two vacations that were back to back.
The family vacation on the Disney cruise was wonderful.
The adult vacation to Las Vegas was fun, but almost put me in the hospital.
This old lady cannot party like she used to, lol.

Back to the polish.

Audrey's Rainbow is a new polish Smitten recently released.
It reminds me of China Glaze For Audrey with holo top coat.
Nimbus is a silvery white holo that is just beautiful all around.
The application was easy and the stay time was decent.
As usual I am happy with my polishes from Smitten.
You can view and shop her store here
http://www.smittenpolish.bigcartel.com/
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are well!

Colors by Llarowe Rizzo

Hey fellow polish lover :)
This is 1 coat of Colors by Llarowe Rizzo
and an accent nail of a purple polish
that I put ILNP Mega holo top coat over.
It made the color change to a light purple color.
I put off buying Rizzo 3 times.
Then after seeing so many pretty swatch pictures in polish groups,
I finally caved. I am so glad I did!
Rizzo has a wonderful formula that applied with ease
and wore well for a few days.
I did put it over a darker pink, that may be why it looks
darker than other people's swatches.
Also, it may have helped with the stay time.

I am getting really excited about the
Disney cruise we are surprising the kids with on Friday.
They think we are driving to the beach and staying there.
I plan on recording their reactions.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you are well.

Nicole by OPI with Holo Top Coat

Hey there!
I had some untried polishes (as I always do)
and I wanted to give them a try.
It was also sunny,
so I had to add my new
Colors by Llarowe Leather & Lace holographic top coat.
The teal color polish is Nicole by OPI Candid Cameron.
The blue is Nicole by OPI What's the Mitch-uation.
The teal polish was easier to apply and took 2 coats, the blue took 3.
I did not take pictures of it before, sorry.
I couldn't wait to add my pretty holo topper.
Below is the result.
I do recommend being very careful when applying Leather & Lace.
What I mean by that is a little goes a long way.
2 coats covers the base color too much.
I really like the final results.

I hope you are doing well. I am doing wonderful.
We start a new business venture in June.
We are surprising the kids with a Disney cruise for mother's day weekend. Then when we come back, we head to Las Vegas
for a 4 day adult vacation with a bunch of friends.
May is going to be an awesome month, haha.

Colors by Llarowe Piece of Me

Colors by Llarowe Piece of Me
2 coats no top coat.
Hey there, I figured I would post a dreary color due to my mood.
I posted an almost duplicate color before, Too Fancy Moody Blue.
The difference in the two is Piece of Me requires two coats,
while Moody Blue only needs one.
Also, Piece of Me is more on the grey side than the blue
compared to Moody Blue.
Both are great polishes.
Colors by Llarowe Piece of Me was orginaally a custom polish
but then was released on her site as a charity polish.
People can say what they want about Leah Ann,
but, from my experience she is a very sweet and giving person.
I love her polishes more knowing how good of a person she is towards
the less fortunate.

Anyways...

You ever have those days that seem fine and then someone says
something that just triggers you to mope around?
Well, I am having one of those days.
What is weird is I was feeling great, then read something
and got all depressed.
Got over that then someone called me
all in a bad mood and it passed on to me.
Now I amin this funky depressed mood again.
 Blah! Oh well.
I always say,
"Got to have the bad days to appreciate the good days."

I hope you are having a better day and I thank you for stopping by :)

Liquid Sky Lacquer Blue Hawaiian

Liquid Sky Lacquer Blue Hawaiian

2 coats and top coat.
This is a thermal holographic polish that is teal green when it is cool
and lime green when it is warm.
The above picture was when I was leaving work.
And my work was COLD.
So, my fingers were cold and the tips warmed up first.
That is why the reverse color combo in that picture.
My nails are not long enough to do a cool gradient
as most of the swatch pictures I am sure you have seen.
However, I was constantly looking at them
when I would wash my hands or in the shower, lol.
The holographic pay off is not strong, but it is a nice add on.
The effect is scattered and you can see if better in my last photo.
I actually received this in a swap and maybe one day
I will do it justice and grow my nails out.
Thanks for stopping by!

Too Fancy Bejeweled

Too Fancy Lacquer Bejeweled
1 coat with top coat.
This is an AMAZING polish.
The color is gorgeous, the formula is perfection and
holographic particles that seem to glow from within.
I found this on an Asian website and had to pay more than
I wanted to in shipping, but I am glad to have
this polish and the other three I purchased at the time.
This reminds me of Colors by Llarowe Young Turks.
I will do a comparison post later.
I hope your Easter was good.
My kids had a great time hunting for eggs and of course
receiving gifts in their baskets.
Thanks for stopping by!
