Lush Lacquer Pink Panther

Lush Lacquer Pink Panther (2 coats)
over
Pure Ice Strip Tease (2 coats)
Top coat

Hey again. Here is a great indie matte glitter polish.
Lush Lacquer Pink Panther is an excellent
black, white, and pink glitter top coat.
Pink Panther is in a clear base, so it goes over any color polish easily.
This is what they say about their polish...

"Pink Panther is a strikingly beautiful clear sheer base with a mixture of glitter...all different sizes of matte pink , matte black and matte white glitters are used to make this gorgeous polish. We use fine, medium and a few larger hexagonal matte glitter. We don't use any bar glitters in this combination. The colors in this polish look beautiful together and is absolutely stunning on. It's bright and very fun but it does not have a shiny finish ...it definitely attracts attention because it is bold! It looks great over other colors (see the swatches up above) or alone with 2 to 3 coats of polish. This polish has a smooth finish after applying 2 coats of a top coat or gelous. It can be worn shiny by applying a top coat or non-shiny without a topcoat...either way it's fantastic! Please apply a thick top coat to seal in the glitter and allow for a smooth finish! Happy Polishing!!! :0)
BTW~~Matte glitter polishes are all the rage right now!!!!!!"

Side note, the ladies at Lush Lacquer are sweethearts
 and have wonderful customer service.

Pure Ice Strip Tease probably wasn't the best choice as a base color.
The pink glitters in Pink Panther match Strip Tease too much.
But, I still loved wearing this combination.
Pure Ice Strip Tease has a slight shimmer to it and
is a pink coral cream type color
that reminds me of tiki bars at a beach, lol.
Good formula and can be found at Walmart for $1.97 plus tax.

China Glaze Love's a Beach

China Glaze Love's a Beach (2 coats)
with
China Glaze Glistening Snow (1 coat) accents
with
Hello Kitty nail sticker

Hello, I hope your Valentine's Day went well. Mine was wonderful.
My husband let me have the day off (we work together).
I went shopping to buy some clothes for my upcoming vacation
to Dominican Republic next week.
It's great to shop without anyone rushing you.
Usually I have my kids complaining and I can't take my time.
And then in the evening we had a lovely dinner with family.

Anyway! Back to the nails.
This is another polish I received from my Secret Cupid swap.
As with most neon colors, its hard to correctly photograph the color.
Take my word is a neon pink with a orange tint to it.
The color reminds me of the neon craze back in the 90s when I was a kid.

Here is a more accurate color for this neon polish.

This was my look for my Valentine's dinner with my family.
It was a lovely dinner with 11 members of my family.
I used a curling wand to achieve the curls.
I kept my make up pretty plain since my lips were so bright.
I wore Urban Decay Adrenaline super saturated lip stain.

China Glaze Hang-Ten Toes

China Glaze Hang Ten Toes (3 coats)
with
China Glaze Glistening Snow accent (2 coats)
with
Nail Decal Lips
Top Coat

Hey!
Happy Valentine's Day!
I hope today and everyday are full of love and cuddles :)
I am wearing these 2 polishes because
I received them from my Secret Cupid Swap.
It's hard to capture the neon color correctly in the pictures.
I love neon nail polishes.
I posted a video of me opening my Secret Cupid swap from Raquel below.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

KBShimmer Cotton Candy

KBShimmer Cotton Candy (2 coats)
over
Sation Just Lilac That (2 coats)
Top coat

Hey there. Here is my Pink Wednesday manicure.
As usual, I am trying to wear my long list of untried nail polishes.
I don't really care for the tone of the pink in the base of the KBShimmer Cotton Candy,
so I tried to lighten it up by layering it over Sation Just Lilac That.
Personally, I do not like the polish on me.
I like the idea of the glitters together, just not on me.

Sation Just Lilac That is a pretty cream polish in a very pale pink purple shimmer color.
I really like it. You can see a picture of it alone below.

Here is my LOTD.
I used the Urban Decay Glinda Palette
and followed the directions on the card that came with it.

Candy Lacquer Candies & Sprinkles

Candy Lacquer Candies & Sprinkles accents
over
Sally Hansen Virtual Violet (1 coat)
over
OPI Purple with a Purpose (1 coat)

Hey there, this was not how I intended for this manicure to look.
But, I was rushed had to do what I could in the little time I had.
First, OPI Purple with a Purpose is a wonderful purple polish that was nearly opaque in 1 coat and dried very quickly. I am very glad I picked it up.
Sally Hansen Virtual Violet is a lot more opaque then I thought,
I just wanted some shimmery duo chrome look,
but it covered completely with the one coat, lol.
It dried at a decent time.
Candy Lacquer Candies & Sprinkles is the perfect glitter top coat to me.
It is packed full of the prettiest colors!
Instead of the reds, oranges and basic colors we see in multi colored glitters, it is turquoise, lavender, light pink, fuchsia, and dashes of other colors.

NYX Emerald Forest

NYX Girls Emerald Forest (4 coats)

Hello,
I bought this pretty green gold shimmer polish
at a beauty supply for $1.49 plus tax.
I really like it.
It is very sheer and took 4 coats for full coverage.
This would be perfect for St. Patrick's day.
But, I love green, so its an any day polish for me, lol.

Thanks  for stopping by!

Sally Hansen Save the Date (2 coats)
 with
Bow stickers
Top coat

Hey there! Quick and easy manicure that is girly.
Save the Date is a dark wine burgundy color
with shimmers of fuchsia and purple.
You can see those shimmers in the picture below.
Lovely color, application was easy and 2 coats
went on easily and dried fast.
No staining what so ever and after 3 days
I did have some small chipping on 2 fingers.
I am very pleased with this polish.

Hit Polish Bourbon St. with Orly Haley's Comet

Orly Haley's Comet (1 thin coat)
over
Hit Polish Bourbon St. (1 coat)
over
L'Oreal Owl's Night (3 coats)

Hey! The above picture was an accident.
I was just testing out a color to show my husband
and it was actually kind of pretty. I think so anyway.
If you view the post before this one, you will see I was wearing L'Oreal Owl's Night.
I didn't want to remove it because it was wearing so well.
So, I randomly picked a glitter that I didn't try yet.
Hit Polish Bourbon St. is a wonderful glitter top coat
with shredded and hexagon glitters in purple, turquoise, gold and blues.
The formula was great.
The top picture is basically a glitter sandwich,
just not the typical white base and top coat we are used to.

Orly Haley's Comet is my go to polish.
Tons of dupes out there,
so if you can't find it, no worries.
Zoya Charla, OPI Catch me in your net (HTF),
Sinful Colors (not exact dupe),
Pure Ice has a new one that is exactly the same.

Hit Polish Bourbon St. close up.

Weight/Fitness update.
I am still the same weight, actually maybe a pound heavier :(
Darn Superbowl weekend is the same weekend as my daughter's 8th day.
So, of course we go out to dinner a bunch and have cake.
Then Sunday lots of naughty yummy food.
I will make up for it, but I won't lie and say I was good...
haha

L'oreal Owl's Night

L'Oreal Owl's Night (3 coats)
Top coat (1 coat)

Hey again!
I have a polish that was given to me as an extra
in a swap from Chalkboard nails.
I cherish polishes that people give me as gifts.
Even if that person was just gifting it because they didn't like it,
the fact that they took the time to send it to me, means a lot.

On to the polish! lol.
Owl's Night is a wonderful fall/winter polish.
Its a very dark brown with loads of gold shimmers.
At first glance, you might think it was an olive
with all that gold and brown mixed.
This is my only polish by L'oreal.
I like it.
No complaints on the formula, dry time,
stays on well, and the color is lovely.

I put a matte top coat on the last picture.
I like it both ways.
But, with the matte top coat,
it almost looks like a black glowing polish in real life.

Amethyst Pattern Skittle

Hey there! I didn't have much time to go all out on this manicure to participate in the Crumpet's Nail Challenge. So, this is the results of 5 different purples topped with Pure Ice Busted.
From thumb to pinkie-Essie Blanc, Pure Ice New Lilac (Frost Light Purple), Color Club Pucci-licious (blue tinted lavender creme), e.l.f purple, China Glaze Virtual Violet (scattered holo deep purple).

The reason I didn't have much time was my only daughter turns 8 this weekend. She had friends over and we did a party at the house then to the arcade and played games and bumper cars.
Then I opened all those toys that break fingernails...and broke my pointer nail. Grrr!
Oh well...
