Colors by Llarowe Piece of Me

Colors by Llarowe Piece of Me
2 coats no top coat.
Hey there, I figured I would post a dreary color due to my mood.
I posted an almost duplicate color before, Too Fancy Moody Blue.
The difference in the two is Piece of Me requires two coats,
while Moody Blue only needs one.
Also, Piece of Me is more on the grey side than the blue
compared to Moody Blue.
Both are great polishes.
Colors by Llarowe Piece of Me was orginaally a custom polish
but then was released on her site as a charity polish.
People can say what they want about Leah Ann,
but, from my experience she is a very sweet and giving person.
I love her polishes more knowing how good of a person she is towards
the less fortunate.

Anyways...

You ever have those days that seem fine and then someone says
something that just triggers you to mope around?
Well, I am having one of those days.
What is weird is I was feeling great, then read something
and got all depressed.
Got over that then someone called me
all in a bad mood and it passed on to me.
Now I amin this funky depressed mood again.
 Blah! Oh well.
I always say,
"Got to have the bad days to appreciate the good days."

I hope you are having a better day and I thank you for stopping by :)

Liquid Sky Lacquer Blue Hawaiian

Liquid Sky Lacquer Blue Hawaiian

2 coats and top coat.
This is a thermal holographic polish that is teal green when it is cool
and lime green when it is warm.
The above picture was when I was leaving work.
And my work was COLD.
So, my fingers were cold and the tips warmed up first.
That is why the reverse color combo in that picture.
My nails are not long enough to do a cool gradient
as most of the swatch pictures I am sure you have seen.
However, I was constantly looking at them
when I would wash my hands or in the shower, lol.
The holographic pay off is not strong, but it is a nice add on.
The effect is scattered and you can see if better in my last photo.
I actually received this in a swap and maybe one day
I will do it justice and grow my nails out.
Thanks for stopping by!

Too Fancy Bejeweled

Too Fancy Lacquer Bejeweled
1 coat with top coat.
This is an AMAZING polish.
The color is gorgeous, the formula is perfection and
holographic particles that seem to glow from within.
I found this on an Asian website and had to pay more than
I wanted to in shipping, but I am glad to have
this polish and the other three I purchased at the time.
This reminds me of Colors by Llarowe Young Turks.
I will do a comparison post later.
I hope your Easter was good.
My kids had a great time hunting for eggs and of course
receiving gifts in their baskets.
Thanks for stopping by!

Emily de Molly High Distinction

Emily de Molly High Distinction 2 coats and top coat.
This is a beautiful gold polish with a scattered holographic look.
It was easy to apply and wore well for a holo polish.
I purchased it on Llarowe.com
I have swapped it for another holographic polish.
I did like it, just didn't love it compared to my
coveted Dance Legend New Messiah
(the holy grail of gold holos in my opinion)
So, I figured it wouldn't get much wear time with that big hitter in my stash.
It is lovely though and I may kick myself later for swapping it.
Oh well!
Thanks for stopping by!

Colors by Llarowe Seahawks Lime

Colors by Llarowe Seahawks Lime 2 coats
Hey there!
Spring has sprung and here is a polish that is perfect
for the wonderful warm weather and sunshine.
The formula was easy to apply and stayed for a couple of days before I have minor tip wear.
The color is like the name, a lime green.
It is named after the football team and champs, Seattle Seahawks.
I lived there as well as Denver, but, I was hoping the Seahawks would win.
And, unless you were under a rock, you know they did indeed win.
I hope you are doing well.
I am great! No complaints.
Thanks for stopping by!

Zoya Meg with Kawaii Slytherin

Hey there, this is one of my St. Patrick's day manicures I wore.
I put 2 coats of Zoya Meg.
After that was dry I dabbed on Kawaii Nail Lacquer Slytherin
and topped with 2 coats of top coat.
Zoya Meg is a lime green metallic polish.
The wear time was ok, not great.
But, most metallic polishes seem to chip quickly on me anyway.
I love this manicure and received lots of compliments.
It was easy and fast, so that was my favorite part, lol.
Thanks for stopping by!

Zoya Meg was a gift, but I am sure you can find it on their website.
Kawaii Slytherin was an etsy purchase from 2 years ago.
Great brand by the way.

Colors by Llarowe Gizzards & Lizzards

Colors by Llarowe Gizzards & Lizzards 2 coats no top coat.
*Whistles* Now this is a beauty.
This is exactly what I hoped for when
I ordered Glitter Gal Lizard Belly back a couple years ago.
The color is a dark green on the blue side,
but not as dark as GG Lizard Belly.
The holographic payoff is obvious in the pictures.
This is not the original formula,
but I can't imagine it being better than the one I have.
The formula is great and stay time good.
The weather is warm here in Atlanta and I am not ready for it.
I still had more winter clothes I hadn't worn.
I bet I am the only person who wanted the cold to stay a bit longer, lol.
I like it in the 40s-50s.
Oh well, I will embrace the warmer temperatures.
My birthday is coming up! Yay! hehe.
Anyways, thanks for stopping by and I hope you are doing well :)

Too Fancy Lacquer Moody Blue

Too Fancy Lacquer Moody Blue 1 coat
Hello there!
Here is a wonderful indie polish I ordered from Asia.
This is only 1 coat of polish and no top coat.
It last a few days before I had bad chipping.
The holographic payoff is good, not in your face, but still considered linear.
I think the name is perfect for this color.
The color is a grayish blue and can be compared
to Colors by Llarowe Piece of Me.
However, CBL Piece of Me is more on the gray side and requires 2 coats.
I put a picture of the two side by side on the bottom of this post.

Below is with flash.
Below is a quick comparison between the two polishes.
Left is CBL Piece of Me and Right is Too Fancy's Moody Blue.
They are not duplicates, but close enough where I don't think you need both, unless this type of color is your favorite.
It is hard to see in the photo the difference,
but trust me its noticeable in person.
Thanks for stopping by!
